Lenovo's Upcoming Vibe Z2 Pro Reportedly Packs A 6-Inch 2K Display And The Snapdragon 801 CPU

Lenovo may not have much of a presence here in the United States right now, at least in the mobile department, but that isn't stopping them from continuing to move forward and put out some ambitious handsets. Lenovo's next device on the way comes packed with some of this years most anticipated specs and hardware that we thought we might see from some other devices. The new Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro hasn't been officially announced by Lenovo yet and the specs are all but officially confirmed as well, but if the leaked information is correct than the Vibe Z2 Pro should end up being a spectacular device.

You can tell from the image showing off the phones display that the phone obviously has dual SIM support. This is something that shouldn't be much of a surprise since this is a device from a Chinese manufacturer that is most likely meant for the Chinese market, a market that supports dual SIM slots often with devices. We can also see the 4G branding stamp on the top right corner meaning this Vibe Z2 Pro should have 4G network support. More importantly though, it seems that the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is coming to the party with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz inside, and a 2K display to boot. The screen size itself is 6-inches so it really fits more into the phablet category, nonetheless with that screen size and that resolution things should look pretty stunning.

What might be more impressive to some is that Lenovo was able to pack those two aforementioned features along with the 16MP camera with optical image stabilization and dual LED flash, NFC support, and a large 4,000mAh battery inside a svelte 7.7 mm body made of alloy. Since these are just image leaks without any word from Lenovo there obviously isn't any talk of a release date or pricing just yet. We imagine the phone won't be too inexpensive however, given the hardware it's rumored to have on the inside. The Vibe Z2 Pro may also never see any US presence just like past Lenovo smartphones, but it definitely looks to be a nice little phone and that has the potential to give the top contenders some decent competition.
