How to Remove Region Code from DVD disc

DVD region codes are a digital rights management technique designed to allow film distributors to control aspects of a release, including content, release date, and price, according to the region. The commercial DVD player specification requires that a player designed to be sold in a given place play only discs encoded for that region (plus those without any region code). 



But many people do not realize this, and buy some of their favorite DVD discs or commemorative DVD during their travel to share with their family and friends, but found that there is no way to play on their DVD player, there is a being deceived feeling. Faced with this situation, how do we solve it? 

The most direct way is to disable or reset the annoying region codes from your already bought DVDs for playback. But this way is a little complicated for people who are not computer geeks. 1: Download Pavtube DVDAid and install it, and click the "Trial" to run. 

2: Choose the "File" button to load the DVD disc. you can load the full disc or DVD ISO/IFO files. 



3: Choose the format. 

Click the drop-down box of format, where there are more than 200 kinds of formats, we can according to our own devices to select the appropriate format, you can also choose "Common Video" to choose format, like "MPEG-4 Movie(*.mp4)".

  1. Great Tutorial! It help me to remove region code in my DVD discs. However, I also find Leawo DVD Ripper can do it so. Maybe its guide can give you another train of thought on how to remove region code from Blu-ray/DVD discs.
