Noah is a 2014 American epic biblical-inspired film directed by Darren Aronofsky, written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel, and loosely based on the story of Noah's Ark. The film stars Russell Crowe as Noah along with Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Anthony Hopkins, and Douglas Booth. It was released in North American theaters on March 28, 2014 in 2-D and IMAX while several countries will also release a version of the film converted to 3-D and IMAX 3D. And it's Box Office is $43.7M at the top. 

I loved it. The Watcher's were pretty sweet, who is my favorite of the movie! Russell Crowe stars as Noah in the film inspired by the epic story of courage, sacrifice and hope.

Convert Blu-ray to Apple ProRes 422 HQ for FCP 6/7 editing on Mac Mavericks

Final Cut Pro (FCP) is a professional non-linear editing software application for Mac users. The software logs and captures video onto a hard drive (internal or external), where it can be edited and processed. But, since Final Cut Pro only accepts DV, HDV, P2 MXF (DVCProHD), XDCAM, and 2K film formats. When I edited my Blu-ray to Apple ProRes 422 HQ on Mac Mavericks with using FCP 6/7 editing, I failured. I think if I convert Blu-ray to Final Cut Pro natively supported ProRes codecs, I can add Blu-ray films into FCP. 



Due to this, I searched online for a blu-ray ripping software to convert Blu-ray movies to FCP for editing on my Mac Mavericks. I searched for "was capable of converting blu-rays" and Many similar problems and solutions came up. I've tried Handbrake, because it is free. However, Handbrake can not convert the movie which Protected. My problem wasn't completely solved until I tried Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac, which is easy to use. Follow me! Simple operation to achieve our objective!

Step 1. Download and install this Pavtube ByteCopy for Mac, load disc. 

Note: you need an external Blu-ray drive to make your Mac recognize Blu-rays firstly. Insert your discs, launch Pavtube and click the top left icon, you will find it detects your disc and shows the name automatically. Just click it to load. 



Step 2. Choose format for editing on FCP X. 

Click the "Format" icon; you may notice there're two options of ProRes 422 HQ. One is inside the "Final Cut Pro" the other is inside >Multi-track Video". The only difference between these two presets is that the former is common one-track preset while the later could keep all your audio tracks (languages). I'd prefer the Multi-track one. 



Step 3. Customize V&A settings. 

Let's move to "Settings" icon (right besides "Format"), you will find two tabs one for Video and the other for Audio. On Video tab, you can change target video quality as there are three levels for you to choose. 

In the Audio tab, we can check the audio tracks we need as below: 



Step 4. Start conversion. 

Back to main interface and hit "Convert" to start ripping Blu-ray to multi-track ProRes 422 HQ. After it completed, click "Open output folder" to quick locate the converted MOV files.

If you can't get "Let It Go" out of your head, blame Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. 

The duo are now Oscar winners thanks to their songwriting skills that helped make Disney's animated hit Frozen become a worldwide success. 

Lopez and Anderson-Lopez may not be as famous as the film's stars Idina Menzel orKristen Bell (yet) but you may know more of their work than you realize. Here are five facts you should know about the award-winning pair. 

1. They are a happily married couple. 
"It sure is nice to be next to your best friend at those few moments when it's going well. But he's more than a best friend – I also get to go to bed with him," Anderson-Lopez tells PEOPLE. Adds Lopez: "The Oscar is a powerful aphrodisiac." 

2. Robert Lopez is the world's youngest – and incredibly modest – EGOT. 
When Lopez and his wife won the Oscar for Best Song earlier this month, he became only the 12th person in history to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award. And he is the only one to do it within a decade! 

2004 – Tony Award for best original song (Avenue Q) 
2008 and 2010 – Daytime Emmys for music direction and composition & lyrics (Wonder Pets) 
2012 – Grammy for best musical theater album (Book of Mormon) 

"But I've never won anything on my own. I got a lot of help along the way," says Lopez, who has also won a Critic's Choice Award, Drama Desk Award and Annie Award. 

3. Their kids are their biggest critics – and supporters. 
"Frozen has been a team, family effort," says Anderson-Lopez. "Every song we wrote, our [daughters Annie, 4, and Katie, 9,] were the first audience for it and if they didn't want to hear it again, we went back to the drawing board." 

And while their girls are fans of "Let It Go," Annie prefers to sing the "and by the way I don't see no ring" line from "Fixer Upper" and Katie loves the first verse of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" 

4. Their songwriting process has a very important start. 
"First of all, we have to have a babysitter," says Lopez, who is currently working with his wife on a new stage musical with Broadway director Alex Timbers. "Once that is in place, we just do a lot of talking. As the ideas start to come and rhymes sort of hit, we put them in the drawer so that by the time we hit the piano it is just like putting together Lego pieces." 

Adds Anderson-Lopez: "We wrote 'Let It Go' in about a day and a half. We took a walk in a park and were singing on top of picnic tables pretending to be Elsa." 

5. They have at least one more Frozen song for fans! 
"There's a song that we wrote especially about the making of Frozen," Lopez says of the tune they penned as an extra for the Blu-ray/DVD, in stores Tuesday. "I think it pretty much sums up our feelings about the experience."

The seventh installment of the wildly popular film franchise is scheduled to resume shooting in April, nearly five months after the tragic passing of actor Paul Walker.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, cameras will start rolling once again on or near Apr. 1 in Atlanta, with the shoot slated to last from six to eight weeks.
In December, Universal Pictures confirmed that Walker will appear in Fast & Furious 7, which is slated to be released on April 10, 2015. Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, will apparently retire and not be killed off.

The studio was forced to delay the movie's premiere date in order to complete a massive script rewrite in the wake of Walker's death in November 2013.
Fast & Furious 7 was in production when Walker was killed in a car crash and over 60 percent of the film had already been shot.

After Walker's passing, Universal released a statement saying it is "our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise."

Meanwhile, Brick Mansions, the last movie that Walker completed before his death, will arrive in theaters on April 25.
